RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

(Karee Clothing / Taro Designs UK Ltd)

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on:

  • kareeclothing.com (India + international customers)

  • karee.co.uk (UK customers)

The seller and contracting party for all orders worldwide is:

“Karee Clothing” is used as a trading name for branding only.
Karee Clothing Private Limited (India) acts solely as a fulfilment and returns-processing partner.


1. RETURN WINDOWS

1.1 United Kingdom & European Union

  • You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or cancellation.

  • You then have 28 days from delivery to send the item back.

This follows your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK) and EU consumer law.


1.2 India

For customers in India:

  • You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Items must be shipped back as soon as reasonably possible after approval.

India consumer law does not mandate a 14-day cooling-off period, so we provide a voluntary 7-day return window.


1.3 Rest of World

  • You have 7 days from delivery to request a return.

  • Items must be returned promptly after approval.


2. ITEMS ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

To qualify for a return, items must be:

✔ Unworn
✔ Unwashed
✔ Unaltered
✔ In original condition
✔ With all tags attached
✔ Free from perfume, makeup stains, deodorant marks, pet hair, or wear signs
✔ Returned with original packaging where possible


3. ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Underwear

  • Swimwear

  • Beauty/perfume items

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked as “Final Sale”

  • Items returned outside the return window

  • Items without original tags/labels


4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer:

  • Customers in the UK/EU/Rest of world pay their own return shipping.

  • Customers in India pay domestic return shipping to the Kerala returns centre.

We do not reimburse return postage costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Karee Clothing Pvt Ltd is not the seller.


5.2 UK, EU & Rest of World Returns

6. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

  1. Email returns@kareeclothing.com with:

    • Order number

    • Item(s) you wish to return

    • Reason for return

  2. We will confirm if the item is eligible and provide return instructions.

  3. Pack your item securely and attach your return label.

  4. Ship the parcel using any tracked mail service.

  5. Keep your tracking receipt until your refund is processed.


7. REFUNDS

✔ Refunds are processed once your return is delivered and inspected.

✔ Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

✔ Refund timeframes:

  • UK/EU/International: 7–10 working days

  • India: 7–10 working days after inspection

✔ Refund deductions (if applicable)

Your refund may be adjusted if the returned item:

  • Is not in original condition

  • Shows signs of wear

  • Is missing tags

  • Arrives damaged due to poor packaging

We will contact you before making any deductions.


8. EXCHANGES

We do not offer exchanges.

If you want a different size or colour, please return your item for a refund and place a new order.


9. DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEMS

If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect:

  1. Email returns@kareeclothing.com within

    • 7 days of delivery for India

    • 14 days for UK/EU/International

  2. Include photos and your order number.

  3. We will provide a prepaid return option (if applicable) or offer a replacement/refund.

If the defect is confirmed, the return shipping cost will be refunded.


10. REJECTED ORDERS / FAILED DELIVERY (INDIA)

Because duties and GST are prepaid by us (DDP), customers cannot refuse delivery.

If a customer instructs a courier to “return to sender”:

  • Duties and clearance fees may be lost

  • Shipping costs may be deducted from the refund

  • Refund may be issued only after the item returns to our UK or India facility

We strongly advise customers to accept the parcel, then request a return normally.


11. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

If a parcel is lost or stolen after delivery confirmation, this must be raised with the courier.

We will support investigations but cannot refund orders marked as “delivered” unless the courier confirms loss.


12. BULK SHIPMENTS FOR INDIA (HOW RETURNS WORK)

For efficiency, India orders may be consolidated into a single bulk shipment to our Indian fulfilment partner.
This does not affect your return rights.

Returns for India always go to the Kerala processing centre listed above.
